When planning your vacation in Bavaro or Punta Cana, with a lot of sun and beach, why not right away planning a more priceworthy vacation in the area of Miches, in an Ecolodge with direct contact to local peoples. Make a Tour to the beautiful Big Waterfall or to one of the Caves on top of the hillcrest. Miches and Pedro Sanchez are also starting points to do Whalewatching, or for a Fishing Trip. On request, we'll take you through the beautiful countryside, and undertake a wide range of other Eco-Activities, e.g. a half day ride to the long-strechted waterfall ¨Marlboro¨.

Here under the daily sun you'll meet poor, but happy local peoples, learn about Dominican Lifestyle, their Culture and their Traditions, all for favorable prices! The region between El Seybo via Pedro Sanchez until Miches is classified as "Ecological Corridor", and Pedro Sanchez is a "Typical Dominican Village", where we develop ecotourism as pioneers in the region since a few years, whereas the small town of  Miches, just over the hill, is now also looking forward to be developed as role model for sustainable development, since four international universities have agreed to cooperate in the respective planning process.

This vacation destination in the Northeast of the Dominican Republic is for active people with a reasonable level of fitness and interest in Outdoor Activities. If you like to walk, run, hike, paddle, cycle, or go to the gym, you'll love the trips. You don't need to be a triathlete though !
